Predecessor Energy

The History of a House

"Have you ever walked into a space and felt a strange vibe, even if you can't explain it? You're not alone. That feeling might be due to Predecessor Energy, which is a fascinating concept that refers to the lingering energy left behind by previous occupants. Think of it as the invisible footprints of those who came before, their emotions, memories, and energy imprints woven into the very fabric of the space. By understanding predecessor energy, we can gain valuable insights into the history and character of a building, and even uncover some of those unexplained chills or strange occurrences that you might have felt. It can be like a window into the past, revealing a hidden layer of the space's story. How cool is that?!"

Predecessor Energy in House Cleansings

The house as the mirror of the self.

It is a FEELING more than anything else.

Trusting your intuition and perceptions is crucial as an Energy Shifter. Predecessor Energy, which is the energy remaining from previous occupants, can greatly affect the ambiance and feel of a place. Many of my clients see and hear things as well. Real estate agents, homeowners, home stagers, home inspectors, and real estate developers should acknowledge this energy and its influence on potential buyers. When buying a home, it's essential to take into account the predecessor energy of a place.

A certain ENERGY seems to come from some homes and businesses that make us uncomfortable.....either from the moment we step into the home or in a certain area, if so consider Predecessor Energy.

Before purchasing a home, or anything that has been used in the past, I always consider the effect predecessor energy can have. If I were considering purchasing two homes of equal value and desirability in the same neighborhood, I would want to know why the buyer is selling the home.  If one home is being sold because of a divorce, its predecessor energy may be dense, filled with grief and sadness.  If the other home is being sold because the owners are doing well financially and want to buy a bigger home, the predecessor energy may be lighter, filled with optimism and prosperity.  Naturally, I would choose the latter due to the favorable energy.
